The format of the workshop will be a number of keynote talks by leading researchers, which will provide informative and up-to-date overviews on the uses, extraction of information, accessibility, availability and curation of photographic and video images. Marine Biotechnology - looking beneath the surface: a mission to China A DTI Global Watch Mission visited China in January to gain a better understanding of the marine science and technology sector in relation to marine biotechnology. The mission looked at key research facilities to explore the prospects for UK businesses and collaborations. This free one-day event will report back on the findings of the mission, which aimed to discover first hand what new areas are emerging from initiatives in China and to explore the opportunities for collaboration and technology transfer.
